Here's a pic of the pocket I've put in a couple of the bags. As you can see it's not easy to get a good shot of it. I'll try for a better one tomorrow.

Hi perthhog, I'm literally waiting for one buckle to turn up to put the small bag on the front end and it will be finished. Here is your bag so far. I'll keep you posted.

Really nice work F511. I don't know if its been covered B4. Is leatherwork your trade or a very high level hobby? Also, do you do the bags for softtails with those plastic quick release tabs under the buckles. Kind regards Steelo

Hi steelo, it's just a hobby but I've been doing it for about 20 years. I just got sick of the cheap imported shit getting around. A couple of mate's asked me to make some bags for them and it's exploded from there. It took me a year to find time to make one for my own bike. It's pretty busy at the moment, I've got orders coming out my ass. But I've done a couple with the hidden quick release buckle underneath. It wouldn't be a problem mate.

Here it is perthhog, ready to go. The buckles finally turned up. I've made it so if you want the small bag at the front can be taken off, but don't worry it won't fall off.

    Damn these bags look brilliant!!
I tried searching in the thread but am sure been asked before, do you make bags for Sportsters as well? That's some good craftmanship Fire!

Thanks shadowarrior, I've been so busy making dyna and softail bags that I haven't got around to a sportster design. I'll get off my butt and start tomorrow arvo. I did make one a couple of years ago for a 48 I had but sold it with the bike and didn't keep the pattern so I will start from scratch.
Well here's something a little different, some mate's are keen pig hunters and bought some really nice knifes but they came with crap pouches so i made these up for them.

Hey guys, l did some test stitching with some orange thread. As usual a photo just doesn't do it justice, it looks to be the same orange as the harley logo and definitely stands out. Probably more than the red stitching.

I can see the black and orange being a very popular combo. Only thing I'd be worried about is keeping the orange thread clean after riding :)

I know what you mean shadowarrior. I'm running a couple of tests so I'll let you know how it goes.
