    These look like great bags Fire511, wouldn't mind one of these with DARK navy blue stitching (if thats possible), for the softail.

    Can you PM me  $ sent to Perth.

    Cheers,

    Vic.

    Hi Vic, I've had a look at some different thread colours. It seems that nobody makes a dark navy blue but I can get what is called a mid blue which I think would look pretty good. It's definitely not a light blue. I'll order some in and post a pic up so you can check it out.

    Thanks mate, I was thinking Dark Navy because I was after something that was blue but almost black
    but look forward to seeing the blue you order in.

    Cheers,
    Vic.

    I'm very impressed with these bags, your design ability and workmanship. I love the idea of having a stubby holder on the bike too!cheeky

    I'm not sure these would fit in with the Rocker, but i am very interested to know if you got further with the shoulder bag idea? I use a shoulder bag now but would love to have something nicer and that lasts longer as they wear out from rubbing on the guard.

    I have to say i realy like the single strap ones that go over the whole shoulder like a surf bag style;

    But i would also be interested in the style i have now wich is a true shoulder bag style;

    Hi punkin, I haven't had many people ask for shoulder bags but I'll do some research now and see what I can come up with. Also I'll go find a Rocker for you to see if and how a bag might work.

    G'day perthhog, I'll have a look at putting the bottle at the back of the bag. Things start to get a bit tricky at that end as you start to run out of room, but I'll have a look and see what I can do. Unfortunately no luck with silver stitching thread, I have had other guys wanting gold and silver but it seems no body makes it, it would look very cool but. Hopefully one day I can find some.

    Hi Vic, got some blue stitching thread in, it's a lot darker than I thought it would be and it is navy blue. It's pretty hard to get a decent pic of it but it does look good.

    My thoughts are I'd be scared I'd be bashed and sexually violated if I wore a bag over the shoulder like that.

    Howdy mate,

    Keen on one of these for a dyna if you are still doing them. Black double stitching with just a single buckle.

    fitted up and found it was hard against the peg, drilled a couple of new holes and then re-fitted. Pretty happy as I can fit the set spanners and torx keys etc all wrapped so they don't rattle

    first location... can see how tight against the peg arm

    after drilling new mounting holes...

    Hi Uncle Ho, can you send me some photos of the new holes you had to put in. I just want to check my template for that bag. I just can't stand the idea of something not fitting properly.

    Hey Meatbag, yes mate I'm still making them and can definitely do one for you. Depending on if you have foot pegs or not they are different bags(smaller if you have pegs).

    So guy's, here's the first pic of how the softail bags are held on. 3 straps that are connected on the inside of the bag so there isn't anything metal that touches the swingarm.

    Hey perthhog, I tried putting a water bottle on the back today. It just wouldn't fit unfortunately, the rear wheel axle nut is in the way and their isn't enough mounting room on the swingarm to move the bag forward far enough to make it fit. Hit me up with some more ideas and I will see what I can make work. Still no luck with silver stitching either mate .

    G'day fire511 bugger O well thanks for trying that out. How about if we go with a pocket at the front and no water bottle holder I'll just go black stich too , thanks for the effort fire511

    Edit. Maybe a bit longer than the bottle holder in a rectangle shape  with a flap over the top  same as the bag

    Fire, have you fitted these up on a Breakout

    I would like one with the twin straps & red stitching

    keen on a little pocket inside for keys & phone

    do you have any pics of what the bag looks like inside

    I am thinking of putting some clear contact on the swing arm where to straps attach the bag to it, I have some that Boeing use on the leading edge of there aircraft, that should stop the leather from marking the paint

    I will shoot you a PM
