Exhaust ceramic coating repainting options

So a person unknown has scratched my black D&D Fat Cat exhaust pipe (main end canister). Not happy.

Has anyone had experience with getting a black ceramic pipe repainted? I say repainted as D&D tech have advised that to be the best course of action. I've gone back to them on parts pricing options but I'm not terribly hopeful on that.

I'd prefer the work done in the ACT but open to recommendations.

    Thanks in advance.

I just recently got a quote to change a two into one pipe from chrome to black the guys over here wanted $280 to $330 to
Do that , pipe gets blasted first i decided to powder coat the shields instead with a few other bits for $80

I had a similar issue with my black pipes (gloss) recently. Came home with chewing gum or something stuck all over the top pipe so tried to clean it off but left scratches in the paint. I went down to the local auto shop and bought a can of high temp paint and painted them .
    Easy as.

Thanks for the advice blokes. I'm going to see if I can source a replacement can but noting that won't be easy, looks like I'm up for a re-spray.
