If you can pick up a stock CV 40 they are hard to beat think they started in 1988 models but withno excellerator pump they kept them till EFI 

+1 on CV. get the one with the Accel Pump as then you do not have to hunt around for the special needle they had to use to make up for the lean off the line condition. You can pick them up for between $100-$200 dollars on either eBay or Gumtree.

Also you can buy an adapter for the CV to S&S teardrop air cleaner. They look sweet and sure beat all the Hyperchargers and Screaming begel units that every other harley in the world runs!
