Been a long time since I dropped in, sold my Heriatge in 2104 for a Ultra Limited which I thought was great. Mangaed to clock up 27,000k's in 18 months on it.

Two weeks ago I traded the Ultra on a 2016 CVO Road Glide, absolutley wrapped in this one. It is an amazing piece of machinery to get around on.

After having it 6 weeks I'm convinced Road Glides are the ultimate Harely tourers, they're big, heavy and unbelievably comfortable. Arrived back home yesterday after a 8 day run with 15 mates. Clocked up 4509k's ion the trip and have 6607k's on the bike after owning it for 6 weeks. The run was Rockhampton > Barcaldine > Cunamulla > Lighning Ridge > Albert > Armidale > Toowoomba > Rockhampton.

Included lots of pubs and a tour at Lightning Ridge with a trip down the Chambers of the Black Hand.

Hit a small roo on my Road Glide and thankfully came away upright and unscathed. Not sure how fast I was going when we connected as I tapped the front brake to drop off some speed and held on tight. Doing around $1.30 when it came out of the small bushed near the road. I was bike 14 in the pack so was rather surprised when it leaped out at that point.

Even though it has Boom Stage 1 stereo I think the Ultra stock one sounded better, the speaker angle seems to impact on sound loss. Only real annoyance is the GPS screen and gauges are next to impossible to see when the sun is high and behind you when riding, mid morning is the worst times I find.

A couple of warranty fixes as well, the right shockie failed and dropped all of it's oil when it was parked up and home and one rear speaker was faulty. Both have been fixed, take it back next week and get the badge on the tank fixed now that it's come off a bit. It's a bit annoying considering the premium price they ask for them.

    Thanks for the report LordViykor.

Was looking at the Road Glide Ultra myself but couldn't afford the extra coin so ended up with a Ultra Limited.

I'm having problems with this bike as well so your not alone.

HD are disappointing with their quality control.

Starting to think if I should of gone to the Indian.
