Good Job Ando! just try to get bulk Torque!! i can never notice HP like i can Torque!
TB size .... intake valve size will determin that!!! think of it like a 6 lane highway turning into a 2 lane road just before you get to the business end of the motor!!
Good Ando!! i went for the most HP but my track time quarter mile did not get quicker as 60 foot time no better but trap speed would be faster with more HP. then went for dyno tune that got the HP & TQ to come in the quickest timed say 3 or 4 seconds WOT see what tune got the most power & torque the quickest!! that was the key my times went down. but still have to ride & shift quick! no mistakes but getting a tune that could give you the most HP & TQ the quickest worked at the track for me. on a street bike. race bikes are different. street bikes are hard to go quick on!!! but you know your self Ando building a motor to show good HP on a dyno is great, but being able to build & tune a motor that does a quick time on the standing quarter is better!! good luck with it.
Very impressive on the HP, I recently put a 585 cam in my 110 and had all sorts of problems with tuning, she has a SE tuner High output muffs and pipes but otherwise standard..
I went to Anthony at Maztech who has tuned her prior to the cam and his tuning produced 112.8 HP with 128.8 ftlb of torque...The difference is awesome and she is as smoothe as silk, but 131.8 HP on a light bike is some very serious power....
I go through back tyres too quickly as it is...
I was disapointed with the 266e cam until I learnt. When crusing at 100km and you really want to launch. You need to remeber the 3 clicks. Pull in the clutch tap the gear shift 3 times(thats the 3 clicks) and as you let the clutch out turn the throttle all the way around. Gos like fuck then.
