G`day Bal, yes mate I done my Roady a few times by myself  once useing a clear tube over the nipple other end in plastic bottle, slowly slowly keeping an eye on air bubbles flowing out as well as  fluid leve in resevor. & another time useing a vacuum brake bleeder which I bought on Flea bay, couldn`t get the hang of it, properly.it too a lot longer, just to be sure I rode it for a bit to get a feel  & repeat the process .But if in Doubt mate seek a profesional it is your brakes after all .Good luck ! Plenty of advice on You tube as well

Have bleed/flushed abs brakes on my bike and mates bikes a number of times... The procedure is the same as non abs, with a couple of caveats ...

I have only used the mityvac vacuum tool ,,, make sure clear tube attached to nipple is tight and secure,,, make sure when you crack nipple you have vacuum, (pumped up mityvac),,, make sure when you close nipple and remove clear tubing , you have vacuum on mityvac ,,, make sure during TOTAL brake bleeding procedure that ignition switch is in the OFF position, and stays in the OFF position, (You could also pull maxi fuse if you desire) ,,, make sure you have helper, so reservoir is being replenished with fluid during bleeding procedure and reservoir NEVER RUNS DRY ,,, when satisfied with bleeding the systems , (front and rear) , top up reservoirs to full marks ,,, pump up brakes so solid ....

Start bike and make sure brakes are operating,,, go for a ride,,, abs light should go out as normal and should not come back on , (as normal),,,

What I do ,,, find a quiet road and activate the abs , (front and rear) , easy to do a low speed .... Everything checked and operating correctly ,, your good to go .....

Just my opinion ,, before all of the above, (if you have'nt cleaned them for awhile), I would recommended removing calipers, and give calipers, pads and pistons a good clean etc .... PS , there a few good vids on utube that show most of the above ..... Cheers ....

When brake bleeding is completed,, pump up brakes

Piece of piss blokes. I have a Mityvac and it is the bees knees. Does the job easy and I didn't spill a drop. No dramas before or since doing the job on the Ultra.  Front and rear.

Best $125 spent on a quality tool.
