I'm a short ass 5.5ft and found the stock street bob solo dyna seat to tall ..

i slammed the ass end of the bike by 2" and still was on my tippy toes .

bike currently has forward controls (bought like that from previous owner) so im at full streach and can just rest my legs on the peg and only slighty touch the brake. :/

HD wanted $620 for stock mid mount controls and wanted to charge 5-6hrs labour ...

so i started looking for other options .. and i came across this seat  ....

HD P/N # 54384-11

brings legs 1" closer together ,  1" lower , 3" forward  also now has a back support ...

$290 bucks alot cheaper then the mid mounts and 2 secs to fit myself

i have yet to fit the seat as yet i will be doing so tonight and testing it out over the weekend...  fingers crossed thats all was needed..

 

 

 

Good luck man. Hope it works out. If it doesn't solve the problem completely it'll still help. First harley I rode had long extended forward controls on it and it's a shit and unsafe feeling when you don't have adequate control

yeah first impression of the seat is wow its got some curve hope my fat ass will fit in it or will my nuts be resting on the ing switch... was the cheaper option so i went with that...

Well I test fitted it when I got home and let's say I will be calling my dealer tomorrow asking for a refund or a exchange on another seat . If not I will sell private.
Foot peg position was perfect but my ass doesn't actually fit in the seat so I'm sitting on the back rest section and if I squeeze my ass into the seat my foreskin is on the ing barrel
