Harley have allowed a prototype 750 adventure bike to be part of their Bangkok line up......maybe a little test to reaction

Yeah ... The Thais seem 'Harley Crazy' ! Probably a good market to test.
Although .... I'm sure I read somewhere, that HD is the 'biggest seller' in Aus !
( I struggle to reconcile such )
Not sure what idea they are floating with that, assuming HD HQ was even involved. The adventure market seems to be flooded with all sorts and styles of bikes for people to choose from, all with a shed load more electronics etc and experience making such bikes than HD has to offer. Interesting idea though...
There is a burgeoning cross trail market in Thailand. At the recent Phuket Bike Week, I saw heaps of KTM’s as well as the usual Jap bikes. The 750 targets this market and does not attract the taxes that the litre bikes do. I’ll post up some price comparisons later
Cost and tank size is what would interest me. Considering Honda have just released there CR1000 Africa Twin which which will no dought be hugely popular in the adventure bike market. And seriously cheaper than a BMW. Even the old discontinued Honda Africa Twin 650s, still pull a good resale value if you can find one. And they where discontinued some years ago.
May as well go the whole hog lol
Reckon I prefer this one
103 Cubes of Cross Country Madness
Just noticed I didn't credit the guys who built it.
I saw this bike (previous post) at Frasers in Sydney.
Was it for sale?
Too many shaft failures on the latest crop for my liking
Yep........looks like shit.
Lofty
"Was it for sale"
Not sure mate my memory escapes now and then. I know it was built inhouse and I think it may have been for sale but not sure now.
Would have loved to have it in my shed, enjoy the dirt on my lowrider, this thing would have been "sick" "Bad" "Unreal" or whatever the term is for fun these days.
Not sure the old bones would have been too happy though.
This is more like it, if Harley built one like this, my Super Tenere would be sold
Decided to start building a Harley Adventure bike like this one.
