Had my biggest ride so far on Saturday, absolutely perfect conditions!

    In total covered 360kms.

Left Wallan about 0930 and rode through whittlesea, pheasant creek, kinglake, Toolangi, healsville, black spur, Narbethong, Alexandra, yea, flowerdale, broadford and then back home to wallan. got home just after 3pm.

Amazed at the number of bikes on the road had had the best day on a bike I could ever remember. the good fatboy didn't miss a beat :D

Biggie, that is a great ride for a Saturday or any other day for that matter.

You've got a great starting point at Wallan.

Next thing we know you'll be riding up to the National Meet in October and putting your name down for all of the other Forum rides.

Did anything tickle your fancy about the Fatboy as to other bikes?

Yeah, it was the latter about cruising around on the Fatboy. Riding any model HD is a different and great exerience because your are enoying the ride and not having to 'race' everywhere like on a sports bike. That's why I've got a SG for just touring around and enjoying it.

Besides, I like the look of them.

cheers fellas, ive realised one thing after the long ride, my fatboy, the way it sits now, is not set up for interstate long rides. I had to stop every 30 mins as the bum was aching!

ive got a twin seat im going to try and see if its any better.....

Keep at it mate. Seat makes a big difference and everybody has a different idea of what works. Get it right and half an hour will seem like five minutes.
