    Hey guys

    2013 street bob with 103

stage 1 kit with VH big radious pipes

i cant belive how much vibration goes through the hangers / pegs and frame in general ... i was reading online how there might of been a recall for front engine mount.

i called my local HD dealer and they have never heard of it being a issue .. ran my VIN with no records of Recalls ...

it vibrated that much i lost seat bolt....

going to take it to my local dealer next week to get it sorted ... need to wear a bloody mouth guard...

On a tangent, but inline with H&Hs comment ...

My 103 has stage 1 / SE Super-tuner, as applied by dealer.

It STILL pops a little on deceleration.

Is the Supertuner ONLY any good, for a 'flash tune' .... or is the diligence / ability of tech at dealer, more in play ?

I get a lot of pops sounds awesome but could be to lean :/ was just a dealer tune ..
The bloke who I'm taking it to next week said he will go over it ..

It is my understanding that Dealers configure them with a map which is generic & only covers a limited amount of fine tuning which will be adjusted properly with a Dynotune in the right hands

awesome .. could be the case as i have another issue with the rear rocker head getting so bloody hot it burns my inner thigh.. very uncomfortable riding it.. i think it needs a decent tune .. hopefully Monday will get it sorted

Check the alignment of the front engine mount..

It might need to be shimmed..

Makes a huge difference if set up properly.

Search the forum,, there are heaps of posts on it

gday limpn, bought an 07 low rider a while ago.on the 2 hour ride home, the vibes in the right peg killed my foot over 95 kmh.checked the front mount and found the outer mount section had sagged on to the inner piece.fitted a new mount [ on the dealer ] and reduced the vibes by 85 % then shimmed the inner section back from the frame a bit and rdduced another 10% of the vibes.as this is my first proper harley ,i have nothing to compare it to but its good now. if we told our customers to " get used to it " they would probably shove the machine up our arse sideways.hope this helps a bit.cheers

Find a different dealer or someone different at the dealer as that attitude should be left at home. I would crack the chits with a dealer saying that to me and go straight to the dealership manager.

    cheers guys

this is the same dealer 3 years ago told me " i would never be able to afford a harley and to stick to my jap crap"
words from the salesmen mouth .....

i now drive 2hrs to sydney cbd and get my parts .. instead of the 20min drive to those local rip off bastards..

they just quote me 2k for a service and fit and supply mid controls :O
