Just trying to help here, gents. I am unable to travel with you but I've been watching the weather with your personal comfort in mind. I have obtained some alternative transport and accommodation should you blokes get a little wet.
Looks like the weather Gods are going to smile on us for the run to Moama.. looking forward big time to this one! Gunna be good to match faces with monikers. Ride safe all.
Uneventful first day to Mildura in brilliant warm weather, which is a pleasant change after what we've experienced the last couple of weeks. Only problem was Bob's screen on the SG freezing and not allowing it to power down, which would have flattened the bike overnight unless the fuse was removed. One of the bonuses of riding on a weekday , is that businesses are still open, so a quick trip to Quick Fix Harley in Mildura, saw a tech drop everything, plug in the diagnostic computer to the bike and reset everything. It required 6 updates, which they said they do automatically whenever they service a bike. Bit different from our Heavenly mates in Adelaide. The guy, Paul, at QFH charged a measly $20 for the fix. Amazing service, and really nice blokes to deal with. A lot of anger displayed by Gavin, the boss man , though, when the workshop sausage dog disgraced himsel on the immaculate workshop floor! Overnight in Mildura, and off early to get to Moama for lunch. Beer o'clock now... Although , I forgot. They only sell Mexican piss here??.
Thanks for the update Mike. Nice pics. Have a good time. Hoping to catch up with Chriso and Spook at Strathalbyn tomorrow for a coffee. Then he's on his way to see you guys.
