Hey Guys,

Very new to street riding and just brought myself a 83 Ironhead sportster so i beleive. (Idiot i know)

the frame is custom so im unsure of the origanal VIN number 

The engine number reads CCHD112621 Can anyone confirm this is a 1983 Ironhead XLX1000 Sportster?

I cant find engine numbers on any websites.

Yep, she's a 83 Ironhead motor was on a XLX or maybe a XLS.

The XLX originally came with matt finished alloy rockerboxes and timing/primary covers.
