    Howdy All,

Would like some advice..... Can anyone give me some ideas as how to properly secure the rear pillion bolt....I have lost 2 of the f#kn things on one ride one on the way there and then on the way back.

I have a Breakout  ...the screws are tighten  really good when starting out and then the thing gets  loose along the way  at times when I check I am able to re tignten but have lost 2 so far.....I regulary change from solo to pillion...so dont want to lock tight it...

    thanks

Maybe try one of these? They've got a nylon retaining washer that isn't on the stock bolts.

Appreciate the feed back but its the screw/ bolt that you screw in ontop of the fender to hold the rear pillion seat like those knurled ones.

I have never had one come loose, not sure about others, It does seem strange though, Maybe look at replacing the nut on the Guard and try that.

Try Locktite thread lock. I use it every time I undo and do up a screw/bolt on the bike.
