Hey fellas, thinking of buying a set of the M7 for my fatboy.

Just wondering if anyone has run these and if there's anything I should be concerned about? First time im buying road bike tyres so want to do my homework....

Wrong type of tyre, and likely not available in the correct size.
If you want grip, look at a sports touring compound.
Maybe look at the Avon storm, but don't expect much life out of them.

These were the tyres recommended for my Fatbob by Procycle Dyno. The current Dunlop on the rear in the wet may as well be a sleek tyre for all the grip it gives, in the dry there fine. Morgan and Wacker recommended Michelins or there Dunlop Elite but my confidence in the wet with Dunlop isn't up there. I think speedzter is right. A Sportstouring compound might be better for your Fatboy.

Always interesting points of view when it comes to tyre choice, a choice that I'll have to make soon enough.

    Metzler 880
    Pirelli Night Dragons
    Dunlop Elite variations

Riding style, riding locations (metro / country / freeways), model of bike, longevity and cost, plus more.

    Keep the opinions coming.

Currently have Dunlop American Elite on the fatboy and will go again with them. Have just over 12k and will be changing rear soon. Front is still good.
Been happy with how they perform.
    Cheers.

+1 to what Krackers said...In a group of 10 riders you will find 10 different tyres preferences and each one swearing black and blue that their tire brand is the bees knees.

Over the years I tried each brand and finally settled on one that I felt suited me best (in my case its Pirelli Night Dragons)

In all honesty get one of the brands recommended above and give it a try, they all stick to the road....lol....once you have some miles under your belt on your bike then you should change and see how the handling alters etc.
