Was advised that the Street Bob Special model will discontinue in 2016. I was hoping to purchase one end of 2017. Really like the look, mags, forward controls and handlebars. Typical Harley get rid of something that works! Checked Dyna models for 2017 and was wondering if anyone has heard if there will be anything similar to the Street Bob Special in 2018. I guess my alternative is to try pick up a 2016 model before they are discontinued!

 

 

Iv got one I'm selling, as I just bought slow rider s. It only has about 1600ks on it just finished running it in. Would sell it to ya a few grand cheaper than the dealer would that's for sure ??

First time Harley buyer, was keen on the Sporster but think the Dyna will be a better option for longer distance touring and more comfortable when the missus gets on the back!

It's not hard to make any bike into a street bob special. You could get any 06 up Dyna, throw the standard Dyna alloy wheels on it, drag bats and forward controls, and then choose a seat/paint/engine package that suits you. Then have it custom painted.. And it will still be thousands cheaper than a new one at the dealer.
