    Guess so. I had the cam tensioners replaced. The old girl has 90,000 kms on her. I will try to put up a few photos of the bits and pieces I replaced so as lesser people like myself might have a better understanding.

    Neal,, Yes it would be interesting to see the bits and pieces you replaced to see wear and tear at 90,000 kms .... I take it your bike had the hydraulic tensioners ?? Cheers..

    Yes mate, hydraulic. One of the tensioner blocks was past half way being worn through. The other, not as bad, say a third of the way through. All things given, I would put a figure of 120,000 km at the most for the worst one of the pair being for maximum expected life. I will start another post with photos so as someone else can hopefully get some mileage out of my experience.
