After riding China,s Roadglide with a backrest , I now have one on mine . Awesome for a crook back , so much support . I had never really given them much thought till I actually rode with one .
+1 on the backrest. Just did the run to Cooper Pedy. 2400km round trip. Never been more comfortable. Have a bit of an average back and feel it for a few days after a big ride but no probs this trip.
I've been using a backrest on an HD Pillow Look Touring Seat ever since I've had a Road King (1999) and with my rooted back it makes all rides more comfortable.
I had one on 2003 Ultra and now on my 2012 Road King and best money I spent as have had 2 back ops and it gives support.
G'day,
I have a Bestem backrest on the FLSTC. A good investment for touring.
Does every one here have a bad back ? Is it from riding or old age ? Or a combination of both, like me.
Standard bars on 2013 Ultra Limited have 12.5" pullback and model no for Flanders is 55947-08. They don't list 2015 but it is probably the same.
You are possibly looking for one of these. http://www.sideroadcycles.com/AmericanMotorcycles/Handlebars/More_HD/RoadGlide.html
G2 is what I have on the Roady.
Riders backrest is aitem which any one with a niggling back or full blown back problems should use . I have major back problems and I had a Electra Glide Ultra Classic and after fitting one to the bike it gave me such relief I was so glad as I could ride with a lot less discomfort . I since sold the bike and got a lighter Harley tourer . If anyone out there needs a riders back rest I have one for sale in as new condition . It is a cvo 2008 design and is a genuin item with the fitting base . My new bike does not take one so on it goes .
Hi I should have put it there ( silly old fart I am getting ) But the back rest flew out the door . The new owner rode up on his leky glide and tried it for size ans was as happy as the proverbial
pig in shit . Geez I love it when some one buys some thing of me and is as happy as that . I have other stuff I might try the sales section a piece at a time .
