    Hi all,

The wife needs heated grips for her fat boy.

Just wanted to know what people are running and if they are hot enough.

    Thanks

I've got the HD Slipstream heated grips (#56100030) on the Heritage. 6 settings, easy to adjust with left hand.

I did use heated gloves for a few years, but found them a pain to plug in the gloves and the main wire harness all the time. They also didnt work too good in the rain.

Heated hand grips, do they come with a free bottle of vagina repellent?

    ^ Not necessary, I suspect.

( Maybe a box of printed numerals, to help keep order in the lineup of 'gentlemen keen for a ride' ? )

Genuine Harley, I've had 2 sets on 2 bikes. They work VERY well. Cannot use them on full heat above 4*c Never ridden below that..

Usually set on setting 2 or 3 below 10*c. Easy enough to fit depending on model, just don't rely on the instructions! Useless!

My opinion, better than gloves, if the cold sneaks up on you or you are stuck out without winter gloves they are ideal.

Yep, Harley ones for me too. I have had them on the highest setting a few times but I do live way south. Usually half way up the dial is fine.

Heat Demonz. Not too demon-like, to be honest; I turn em to max with normal riding gloves and that takes the chill away. Might be the thick hand grips, or maybe a loose wire and not reaching capacity. Or they're just OK. Still better than heated gloves, because they're always there, I am covered for surprise drops in temp, and I have no need to finangle with wires to gloves or batteries in gloves.
