Not enough VROD chatter on this forum

So here goes - Long overdue for a refresh is the VROD (new paint schemes dont count). What could HD do as an  "S" makeover ( like the Slim S, Fatboy S, Lowrider S) to the Vrod?

    Factory Turbo would be nice.

capacity upgrade, mid controls, new wheels and updated seat / screen combo would be cool.

no one has suggested ape hangers yet ( good). The Rod is the last bike that needs apes.....

Smaller rear wheel guard, with the solo seat.

I'd like to see a sportier V-Rod S with a narrower rear tyre (but not too narrow), a shorter rear swingarm and longer shocks and forks with less rake (so it turns faster) combined with dual disks and high tech radial brakes.

Then add another 30 or 40 horsepower (whether by larger motor, higher state of tune or super charger)

And you'd end up with a modern power cruiser, a bike that could compete on equal terms with the Ducati Diavel.

I am digging these ideas - the pipes on the Rod in the previous image are way cool.

And yes t oa smaller back wheel and shorter wheelbase. hell - i would love to see a VROD set up as a full blown cafe racer (seem images from germany) and this semi naked thing looked horn. The bloke actually got the seating/bar/peg balance right and it looked like a Ducati monster on steriods!

Hello HD engineers - can you see an opportunity here? Or just let Roland Sands have a go.

An increase in engine size would be good say 1600 supercharged with an alloy radiator/ oil cooler. Smaller back wheel say a 200 and lighter wheels. Bigger fuel tank. Better instrumentation with temp guage and oil pressure.

Daymaker headlight integrated led indicators like on the livewire. Lightweight swing arm with fully adjustable suspension front and rear. Radial front brakes either rim mounted or hub mounted but with an increase in dia.

All hardware to be metric threads. And the grand daddy a cast frame ~~ head and swing arm pivot area with the engine as a stressed member. Under slung exhaust like the buell....

With the Vrod now rumoured to be stopping production this month in the USA, what will the last model look like and will it come back in the future?

Production is stopping on the rods? There is that many on the road l thought the sales were strong but they do need to broaden the range. A factory supercharge option would be nice.
