Hello everyone. Ive just joined and up until a week ago never owned a Harley Davidson.

 

I have been riding dirt bikes for the last five years and been wanting a change, when a good mate decided to sell his harley I knew the time was now!

 

So i purcahsed a 2000 fatboy softail custom with a pro one front end, 2010 rear end, screaming eagle pod filter and some other shiny bits.....

previous owner must have stripped it.... would sharing a VIN prove it?

ive got the rego papers with me, doesn't have either of those codes on it.... just says H DAV SOLO and then the ID numbers....

is there an online database that can confirm it off the VIN?
