    G day Guys

I have an issue with my 97 883 sporty , the bike seam to keep fouling the rear plug on and off causing a miss fire,  one day it will be fine then you start it the next day and it runs like a pig , on a recent run it ran sweet and half way home it stated to miss then it seamed to clear and ran fine. I have heard that running a cooler or hotter plug in the rear cilender may help , but I am not sure which way to go.

I have been through the usual electrical connections and earthings , have new plug leads.I have cleaned out the carby and put a fuel filter in line as they was a bit of crud in the bowl. I am running BP 95

    Any help would be appreciated

I would be looking at either the coil being buggered or the ign module. I once chased a miss just like that and it was the ign module in the end.

Thanks for the feedback Stinkfinger , It does not seem to be burning oil ( no signs & no smoke) but I will keep it in mind.

    Thanks again
