    Howdy,

Names Chris from Cranbourne in VIC.

    I've bought my first bike, a 2015 XG500.

Currently it's had a respray, tailtidy installed, V&H pipes, V&H air filter and a tune - it goes OK for a 500cc bike I suppose.

Coming soon are some Burleigh Highballs :D

Do Harley make a 750 upgrade kit for the 500 Christov?

Welcome to the forum mate. Nice ride. Was the paint scheme your idea or did you buy it like that from the dealer?

    Welcome Chris

My tip would be, spend no more bucks on your 500cc Hd. You will be sick of it in no time. In fact you already seem to be unimpressed with it.

Sorry to be so blunt but I bet it's true.

If you are confined to a smaller cc bike because of lams, then perhaps patience is best and wait till you can get a bike with more grunt before throwing money at it.

    Thanks Gents,

The dealer (Harley City) chose the paint scheme, the pics don't do it justice as they're shit quality. It's vivid black, ice pearl with orange pin stripes.

Agree to a degree on not spending $$ on her, however I'm not an 18 year old on there P's, not that I'm super rich either. But I'm happy to spend whatever to make it just right. Seeing as I'm stuck with the 500 for 3 years (from last Thursday).

Unfortunately as far as performance goes, there isn't really anything left to do. Currently no bigger bore or stroke kits available and the street 750 bits aren't interchangeable.

I really love riding her (I've named her Bessie), she turns heads, sounds nice and is comfortable for my daily commute.

I'll post some more pics (with higher res) once I get the highballs installed :D
