Paid deposit & signed contract for cvo limited December 2015, delivery end of Jan, finance company ring me saying dealer has no bike, ring dealer told may/June for delivery,  Told  bike is being built and will be told when it's on the boat. Ring yesterday to be told. After waiting 5 months no bike was  ordered by his dealer, where do I stand from here.

What the f**k is wrong with ( all ? ) Harley dealers ?

My preferred 'go to' motorcycle retailer ( which deals in - Indian / Victory / Triumph ) for all the 'bits and pieces' is like a breath of fresh air, compared to the halfwits at the Harley dealer .... just around the corner.

A dealers sells/does a deal a CVO harley for say, $50,000 ,,, gets a few calls from the customer enquiring about delivery date over the next few months,,,,,, customer is getting a little anxious,, at the end of the day , the dealer has not even ordered the fucking thing !!!!!

Whatever you are going to do, do this as well,,, Go into to the dealership , take a photo of the salesman and manager,, and in the future if anyone asks what a a complete fucknut looks like,, take out the photos and show them !!!!!!!

What could possibly be the motive for ANYONE who CAN order a $50K bike for a customer to NOT DO SO. Doesn't make any sense.

Why I even walked into Adelaide Peter Stevens on Saturday morning and they couldn't have been more attentive and interested.

For a start im not a troll, I'm Dean from Sydney, 2 it was Frazer's at concord, 3, all salesmen have been sacked since starting this deal  & was told after the first stuff up my name was on the next cvo delivery in to Australia as its only pre ordered bikes only for phase 4 shipment & not one of the salesmen put my name on one, now the general manager rang me back and said there's not much he can do, 5 months of patients got me no where, just asking for a bit of advice from other Harley owners, cheers for any help

Dino this is for sure a monumental cluster fuck, have you contacted HD Australia about the stealership and situation? If not then ring them a plant a rocket firmly up their arse as well and negotiate some form of discount or free rego for the first 5yr non-inspection period or something similar

As for the trade-in mate, do they have the bike or is it still in your possession? If its already traded further reason for you to take a hard core stance and go fucken apeshit, if you have it I'd be quickly racking up another few thousand k's on it just as a "there ya go, fuck you lot" gesture (for fucking me around) send the fucken thing in with bald tyres as well

Seems legit. Anyway, where do you stand? I'd ring fair trading NSW and get their advice.133220 is the number. It could be solictor time with a look at a free bike. They will advise you of your rights. Seems you have been right royally fucked around. Now I now why I didn't buy a bike from Frazers this time around. I was fucked over by them 15 years ago and it would seem they are still incompetent fuck ups.

You're certainly entitled to break the contract and get your deposit back and if they've still got your trade in then you're entitled to that back too (that doesn't get you a bike though).

It will be more complicated if they've already sold your trade in.

I strongly suggest you speak to a lawyer ASAP.

I'd wait it out given the price they gave you for your trade in..The way the market is I think that is a very good price..

Update on cluster fuck, made a lot of phone calls & a lot of string pulling & some how frazers with hd Australia managed to pull a bike from the USA for the phase 4 shipment, but still whinging about the price lol, it's amazing when you spend 8 hours &  50 phone calls what you can achieve, but a big thanks to gasoline ally who started the ball rolling & brain from Blacktown hd who spent many hours trying to help me which is now a Harley heaven dealer ship in a few weeks, highly recommended. FYI I still have my fatty & will rack up the k's lol??
