For anyone who's converted over to chain, I'm interested in hearing what teeth sprockets you used for transmission and wheel sprokets, and how you found it to ride around town or on the highway etc. cheers

Thanks mate what tooth sproket on the transmission and wheel did you use and how'd you find it on the highway/around town?
From what I know with my '96 heritage it's factory final ratio is about 2.11 and the closets I can match that is with a 24/51 setup that'll make it 2.12. Im giving the bike a complete make over to a bit of a bobber look so it's going to be much more light weight, plus it runs a 110ci. The smaller tank I'll be using means I don't want it to be reving hard on the highway but same time I don't want it to be a slug off the start. I was thinking with the extra weight taken off and having that 110 already in there, I might be better off going a 23/48 setup to give it around a 2.08. What's your thoughts on that?

And in saying that going the 23/48 would also mean it'd be easier to jump to a 51 on the rear if it turns out to be too much of a slug off the line. Though I'm thinking as I said before, because the extra weight removed and the larger displacement, giving it done extra legs taking it back to 2.08 should be a good number for it, in theory
