Thought I might post some pictures of the project I have been working on lately (took far to long to complete).

I have added a second disc to try get the street bob to pull up a bit better, and changed the lower fork sliders and triple trees from the silver/raw looking to the black ones. 

While I was at it i changed out the front brake lines for a black braided, and also done the clutch to match. 

mostly brand new parts were used including

new master cylinder - 11/16

2 floating "teardrop" rotors

2 calipers

fork rebuild kit through the new black sliders

second hand triples trees i had powder coated black

Magnum shielding brake lines and clutch cable

Speed Merchant solid bushes with Biltwell 1" tall risers.

I have included some before and after pictures (Maybe to many), Personnaly I think it matches the look of the bike much better than the silver. Let me know what you think.

What have you done with the rear fender ? do you have LED brakes / turn signals from a later model harley or are they inserts.
Im about to piss the donkey dick rear light of my 2012 street bob and have been given a pair of 2014 led brake and turn signal plus will do a custom dynamics plate holder with LED light.
With that 120 how do you not slide off the back with that seat ? haha

Sparra - I havet really had a chance to give it a good work out - ill let the pads bed in properly and re-bleed the brakes (not that happy with the lever feel) and then I will make my mind up if I'm happy or not.

thanks TF, it was a slight hassle but I managed to get it done in the end.
The rear Guard was done when I bought the bike second hand so I'm not entirely sure, I believe that it is the LED from a later model, with turn/tail lights combined together. my number plate Lights are small LEDS in the bolts that hold it to the guard (with some alloy plate behind it). Removing that donkey dick rear light is probably the best idea on the street bobs, I have no idea what they were thinking with that light haha. Or the Top triple tree with the integrated risers!
Squeeze with the knees and turn the throttle lol, grip n rip my friend!

Looks great

Checked over the brake system, everything looked good, Rebled the brakes and got a shit ton of air come out (must of been way to excited to do the job properly the first time) and now the lever feels 100% better, hopefully I get a chance tomorrow to give it a little squirt and bed the pads in and see some braking inprovement!

Cool bike, very nice job. Is that a full R&R long motor or just the heads on SE bottom end?

300 hp rated crank, balanced and welded, with the twin cam cases machined to take the R&R 120 jugs and complete top end. Check out the challenger kit on rrcycles.com again the motor was already built when I bought it so don't know all of the specifics

Awesome mate, they look so much better black. I did the same to my street bob but fitted the factory black Fat Bob trees as I like the wider look but didn't want the extra rake of the wide glide

Did you need a new wheel??

Nice. Any bike looks better with a dual disc front end. It irks me that HD doesn't fit them as standard on all their bikes. We pay enough for them, they should be standard equipment.

Makes me laugh with Harleys though 'gonna black it out, remove the donkey dick light', then you have the next guy 'man I'm gonna remove the black, put more chrome and I LOVE the donkey dick light! It's retro!'

Makes Harleys so much more interesting than other brands!

By the way, how are the SM solid bushes?

Standard street Bob wheel was used, the right side of the hub just has a blanking plate that you removing and a disc bolts straight on.
I have heard that quite a lot, and your right we pay a premium on Harley's and they are lacking in the brake department.
That's all part of the fun with owning a HD isn't it! Once people start changing then you will struggle to see that are the same!

What are the sliders off ,want to do my wide glide but there 49mm

The cables I used were 2inch longer than standard.

I wouldn't mind updating the front brakes like you have done. What's the bare minimum parts you neeed to do the mod. I have a 07 Streetbob.
