    That's real bad !

I had a rear fender replaced under warranty and it was nowhere near as bad as that.

I did see one 'painted' the same as a 2013 Black Diamond , looked ok actually.

actually using recommended Harley cleaner. I have 4 bikes from Harley this was the one I was waiting for and took 10 months to deliver. We get a lot of rain here in Malaysia but trhe bikes dry real fast in the heat non of our other bikes one of which is 21 years old has any rust at all. So pi--ed off about this and the way Harley is responding. I asked if I could keep one of the old tanks and spray it so I had a spare if the tank rusted again and they said no it had to be bashed up with a hammer so I have to ride round with this rust dripping off the tank. Other riders are shocked that a CVO can be like this the bike community here is quite small so everyone knows the story. No more CVO's have been sold since this started happening to my bike.

Yeah... no way is that ok!

I would name and shame on every forum you can find (because as you say Malaysia is a small motorcycle community).

Malayasia an interesting country! I was over there last year visiting a mate of mine (a writer, he's always Face booking about the interesting bikes he's testing for the week... lucky bugger), got to see some places off the normal tourist beat which was good.

I have lived here now for over 20 years running my own company and it is a great country to live in, the highway system is really good and most of the roads are in great condition apart from in some of the suburbs within the city's where potholes can be a problem. Some of the car drivers are really crazy enough to tailgate so this can be a real pain and dangerous at times. Being in Malaysia means that we have the whole of Asia to explore my wife and I set off last year on a right to know where and did a total of 7200 km riding through Thailand Laos and Cambodia before returning to Malaysia. There is a really big biking community in Thailand and riding in Thailand is great especially up in the mountains in the north of the country. Some of the mountain roads have in excess of 2000 switchbacks so even some of our Swiss friends say it is more challenging than Switzerland. Additionally riding in heavy monsoon rain can be a real experience but once you get used to it it can be really enjoyable, it is pointless wearing any form of waterproof as you will sweat too much but the good thing is once the rain stops you dry out really quickly. I have just been told the fourth tank for my CVO is still going to be another six weeks which means I will have been waiting for a total of 4 1/2 months for a replacement tank. You are right I do not think that Harley give a toss about their customers.
