There's a bunch of early Harleys and Indians cruising around Tassie at the moment. I spoke briefly to a snoozer on a WLA at the servo today, I got the impression he was near done talking to rubber neckers so I let him keep moving. I've passed a dozen or so on the road over the last week. Wish I had the camera handy. Anyone got any details of whats going on? Some pics would be great.

Hi Mate,, Every year about Easter time the Vintage Harley and Indian Group have a run somewhere around the country. This year they might have the run in Tassie.. If they have the run in Tassie, the bikes you saw may be a group that are a bit early coming over... They normally have at least a 100 or so in the run... Check out the thread "Harley and Indian Challenge" in this section , (about April 2015) , to see some good pics of last years run if you like classic bikes .... Cheers ....

    Hi Guys,

It was the Great Race, it was held in Launceston 12 & 13 March, I was down that way by chance and caught up with them down at Moles Ceek at their lunch break, it was fantastic and a lot of lovely machinery, I made some good contacts. I caught up with one of the chaps last weekend in Hobart and managed to obtain a luggage rack for my 1928 Indian Scout.

Actually the Ullysses club had its AGM in Tassie two weeks ago, so a lot of older riders took the chance to do some touring.
