be clear on what you actually want.
do you want new mounts, stabilizers or a new front mount with stabilizer built in?

your subject says engine mounts but then you ask about stabilizers..
I have fitted the sputhe stabilizers to mine and checked the integrity of my rubber mounts at the time, all good. pain to fit the rear but happy with them

Sorry for the confusion I have a 103 fat bob and want to take some of the vibration out of her this my 4th fat bob in 7yrs 3x96s now the 103 very
different in regards to the vibration 96 vs 103 and the sweet spot where they run smooth. Was looking at one of these above mount/stabilizers to
smooth her out? my 103 vibrates hard around 1900-2400rpm and doesn't like revving past about 4500rpm when on the gas?

The true track and sputhe are not for taking vibration out, they are designed to take some of the sideways movement out of the mounts to improve handling.
This may take out some of the vibration aswell but I doubt it.

Dynas are going to vibrate but From what you describe something sounds wrong.

Mine vibrates at idle but as soon as it's got say 1500 rpm on it it's smooth up to redline at 6500,
I would be checking and possibly replacing your mounts.

Possibly a decent tune up may improve things too.

The stock dyna mount can be a crap shoot.
The last one i bought lasted less than a few thousand km's.
I'm in the process of building a front mount similar
To the big bear choppers front mount.

Whilst I thought the problem had generally been solved from the 2009 model onwards... perhaps it has not. I have a 2007 Street Bob and have had the rivets on the mounts pop. Have a search for the problem in posts long gone, there is a method of looking at the space between the frame and the mount and how to test and fit shims (no not she hims from Asia) and fit shims to take the stress out of the mounts that can fix some of the vibration.

Sorry I can't be helpful with recommendations but I've read elsewhere on this very helpful Forum that the issue was resolved during the 2014 MY change over for the Fat Bob. My 2015 has nice vibes that smooth out circa 1500 rpm and upwards. Post-4500 rpm she makes a whole new song but the vibes aren't an issue at all.

The only issue I've had with vibes is in relation to the rear licence plate holder that had too much when I was really giving it some over a sustained period (i.e in the twisties). My shop worked on the rear end and while there is still some vibes evident, they aren't as bad. Which is great as bits were falling off. Great bike otherwise.

Thanks gents for your input greatly appreciated.
This is a new demo with 1000km on it has really bad vibe through the pegs at 1900-2400rpm you don't wont to ride in that range.
When running it in and carefully giving a bit of gas noted hard vibration above 4000 took it to 4800 couple time and it felt like I was about to loose the rear fender. WTF
So wasn't to sure what to make of it was it the 103? or engine bit tight? so was thinking maybe install better quality mounts. ????
Rang the work shop at Harley Heaven Alexandria talked to Rick bike going in tomorrow but from what you gents describe there shouldn't be any vibe like this and I totally agree. We will see.Cheers

No that doesn't sound right at all, sounds even more major than an engine mount

Yeah, I'm glad your getting that checked out. I don't have any noticeable vibes through anywhere annoying on mine. Let us know how you go...

My Fatbob vibrates throughout the rev range that I push her at. ( read: less than 3500 )

I don't mind it except for the shake of my mirrors.

Although, after a long ride of say ... more than 100 k, I'm feeling a little beat up .....

There is a service bulletin released by HD to stop this.  I think its on this site somewhere. Involves slakening off mounts and retightening with engine running and maybe cutting some rubber.  Cant remember now, but your dealer WILL have it.  It was orriginally for the switchback, but Im pretty sure it applies to all new Dynas.  The new lowrider ( I think) actually has a recall to stop the ignition switch from turning off under vibration under certain rev ranges.  Thats on the Aus recall site.

Ring Leeroy at Townsville Custom Cycles and buy one of his engine mounts, the name escapes me sorry, but they are very good. Tell him I sent you and he will buy me a beer... :-) Joking there. He designed them and has been using them for yonks, they are STRONG.

    Gday

Bike had a loose rear engine mount. $415 1600km service pinned the AEV open. Bike feels 100% better much like my old fxdf. But need to take her for a real good ride before she gets the thumbs up. So far so good. mate just bought a WG new with stg1 kit and VH comp pipe rode his smooth as lot smoother than mine so I suspect the vibration could have a lot to do with the exhaust your running? Thnx brothers.
