One may get a higher dyno reading as an absolute number with an A motor as the rpm can be turned up more, but I have found very little difference in general. I did an RX 120 with 148hp B motor and a couple of weeks later did an RX120 A motor with the same pipes etc and it did 149hp but a little more thru the range. Sweet NAF all really. I do quite a few stg 4 bikes , usually after what you describe. They should run smooth around town anywhere above 2000rpm, unless you are a complete klutz on the throttle. The Big Radius 2 into one will cost you above 4800 for sure, but it should work well below that. It will still run well above that rpm, but just not the same power as, say a Fatcat or the stock headers and slip on mufflers. Not sure what model your bike is re the stock headers. Is it a stg 4 with the 259E cam?

Your stock headers with some say S&S Taper turbos or slashies would outperform the BR 2 into one for sure. So would a D&D Fatcat, so would a few others. Modifying the BR 2 into one would release some power without having a new exhaust. Thats the full stg 4 with the 58 throttle body? If so it should easily do 110.

your bike should run well at any rpm far canal, you shouldn't have to warm it up for 5mins either, 20-30 secs warm up and away you go, no stumbling at roundabouts or intersections, thats basic efi parameters within the tune file and you wouldn't have to take it to a tuner if you are able to make adjustments yourself with computer

If it's been custom dyno tuned, it should already be smooth. If it's not, I'd be taking it back rather than fucking around trying to adjust the tune myself. Has it actually been tuned or simply had a map installed? Just a map is fine for running the new top end in for a little bit but then it should be properly tuned

Yes it has been custom dyno tuned.

Like with anything there are good operators and other ones. If you don't know about dyno tuning yourself then it is hard to know if you are getting the optimum tune.

The tune I got a week or so ago set me back $550 and increased the HP and Torque by a bout 9 each. The figures still seemed a tad low which is why I put the question out there.
