    Hi

Any body have experiance with sprung seats??

The next thing I want to do is get a "comfortable" seat, at the moment I'm looking at tractor style, about 17"wide, not cheap tho,,,,

    Hi China

Your bike has been an inspiration, love that seat, any chance you'd tell me where you got it?

    Cheers Doug

They work great on rigids helping to smooth out the ride. Putting a sprung seat on a bike with rear suspension? Seems a bit pointless and try hard to me.

Have to admit China's bike always looked the goods

I was never a fan of sprung seats on a bike with rear shocks till I seen it done right, that was on Chinashops old bike (still one orf my fav's).

Reckon go with whatever floats your boat,

On my 62 Trumpy Rigid I run a seat with the short seat shocks but that was mainly because I wanted a bit more height and at the time weighed in at all but 120 Kg's.
Prefer the look of the springs like on Chinashop's bike.

    Hi
Thanks for the info, I did look at VPW's site, didn't notice one.
Apart from the Vintage look of the tractor seat, and the fact that I got a big ol arse, I'm hoping to reduce the shock to my crook neck...

China I've read lots of good things about those road king police seats from the seppo forums. Funnily enough I was only looking at trying to source one from the USA two nights ago. Where are you getting yours from?

    Sweet.

I saw that elide goodies also sell some but not with the air bladder and not at that price. Looks like a complete kit you found. Will you try and get a backrest for it? Eglidegoodies sell one to suit unless you've got other options for that

    Hi
Sounds like you got a good deal there China, freight sounds good also. I put a photo of my present bike in the section you started for bike photos.
I'm pretty sure I won't be able to afford a Corbin seat, Not got much of an income nowadays.
    Cheers Doug
