Tricks of the Trade

1.  Loud pipes do save you from a. Native wildlife (I can testify-bewary of the 'Cannonball Emu' anyway). b. Stoned motorists and c. coffin dodgers.

2.  Watch mini round-abouts in the city as 4x4 drivers tend to drive over them as there not a threat and car drivers go like a bat ot of hell around them.

3.  When on freeway if you can, ride behind or in-front of drivers when there in the lane next to you.  They sometimes try and drive into you due to blind spots.

4. Watch people pulling out in vehicles from the right or left. This is the No. 1 threat, (use horn if in doubt).

5.  Try not to tail roadtrains to closely they kick up rocks that hit your bike and sometimes your head.

6. Take corners at high speed well to the left, ( I nearly got taken out by a 100T crane what took a corner fast and ended up half way across my side of the corner).

7. Be wary going over hill as odd times there's dead roos on the otherside, rope or wood/what-ever.

8. Watchout for flocks of parrots, kookaburras and other kamikaze pilots.
