Howdy.

I had a Call from FISHLIPS, he's having trouble posting to the forum so he has asked me to float the idea of possible dates for Edenhope 2016. 

Due to some rider's concerns regarding the National Run in Oct and the 3rd Annual Sheep Sharing competition at the Lake Wallace Hotel (Booked for the usual weekend) we need anyone interested to throw in their input regarding dates etc. BACAMICK is keen for us to do it again this year and everyone is welcome.

How about a month after the Echuca run? That would be around the 5th or 12th of Nov. Some people may have commitments on Rememberance Day (11/11/16)

Please have a say so that we can get a good turnout and another great weekend. Cheers.

For Victorians there is the 'first Tuesday in November', but really shouldn't affect the Edenhope weekend except for putting a bit of extra traffic on the road in certain holiday areas, but who knows where that'll be.

A month after the National Meet in early October should spread the ability to get away for most people who want to attend both events. You are either going to go or not. That's the way that I look at it.

I don't think that one detracts from the other, so there shouldn't be any concerns.

I think that the 5th would be suitable.

It was moved to an earlier time to avoid Melb Cup , what is that date ?

Now I'm only a blow in with Edenhope (only been twice I think) but why should Edenhope, in its 8th or 9th year, be moved to suit the National run?
