Given the latest trend towards blacked bikes, how popular is the chromed Fatboy these days?

That would depend on who you talk to. The Fatboy has always been one of my favorite bikes. And I know a ton of guys that hate anything blacked out.

Man, I dig the blacked-out look but will readily say that to me a chrome Fat Boy is classic, and classics never die. Right?

I love the sinister black look bikes, but bling and colour wins every time for me. Reason I bought a Fatboy, is because it has the most chrome off the factory floor compared to what you would have to fork out on chrome parts on other models. Wont stop me buying more, though

Black for me with small touches of chrome.. Blinged up bikes look tacky and there is nothing tough looking about them.

As for the fatboy they are one Harley I won't own again.

Can look good with some work but handle like shit and don't suit my riding style.

My first Harley was a fatboy I loved and worshiped it and I still love the look of fat boys my fav model. The only one negative thing I have to say about it is the handling. Due to that fact I now have a dyna. Handles so much better .
