Got a 2011 FLHTK (and absolutely love it) but the radio reception leaves a lot to be desired. In others words, it's pretty crappy most of the time. It does have the rear antenna on the TopBox, and appears to be all connected.  The sound quality when I've got a CD in is pretty damn good. Any ideas? suggestions?

Like many, I used the simple trick of the full Street Glide aerial running under the seat up to under the tank. It gets good clear reception. I just followed the youtube clip.

I'm not impressed with the Harmon kardon head unit either. Radio reception is average. It often stuffs up playing mp3s. On long trips it intermittently has a loud static noise when playing music thru the aux port.
