I took my bike in for a dyno tune at APL as it seemed to be running a bit poor, which was confirmed, fuel was way out of sync on both cylinders and was running very hot. That aside now its fixed the bike is sweet and got a few more tq and hp out of it.

for the seasoned HD guys are these decent figures?

    Cheers

The tuner certainly got you some noticeable tq gains in the early part of the curve. What pipe/pipes are on it

Upgraded from my Sporty to a M8 Breakout a few months ago and loving it.  Got rid of the rear plate mount and fitted the Bikecraft tail tidy and also front led indicators. Found corner hard was scraping pipes and pegs so fitted Arnott's air ride. Done SE447 torque cams and just fitted a new rear Avon.  Found the stock tyre good but you chew through it pretty quick if you ride it hard. (sorry cant get the pictures to go the right way)

    Interesting combination SE260 cam/10.5:1 , any head work ?
Hard to comment on numbers without knowing details, and also the Dynotech Dyno's are rumoured to read differently to other brands, but as a before
and after comparison, on paper they've done OK.

I bought the bike with the cams and pistons already installed. They were around 5000km old when I got the bike. ive put about another 5000km on the bike
Head work i dont think so. there was nothing listed on the build sheet
I was looking into options for heads then i thought I could go the 107 option with an ss-910-0500 kit and ss-106-3240 super stock 89cc heads?

im not in any huge rush as i would be doing the mechanical work myself but between outdoor furniture builds the last thing i want to do on the weekend is pull the bike apart when I could be out riding!

Paulybronco- pipes are VH big radius 2 into 2. again came with the bike.

At the moment im very pleased with the poke its got for the price i paid for it

One year on the bike now and I’m still loving it. I’ve done a few little things to it but the two things I’m most happy with are the progressive fork springs and the 259E cams. The springs made the ride SOOO much better. It was a surprise to me that it improved the whole ride, front and back. I was only expecting the front to feel better (bare in mind in a total novice). The cams have made it MUCH more lively. If I’m remembering the right dyno numbers I got when I first had it tuned, they’ve given me a 20% increase in power. I’m stoked with that.
I also went with a slight change in look with a heavy breather.

Hahahaha. I remember once, you said you thought your pipes would probably be louder than mine. Hmmmm, yeah. I think you might be right ;-)

Went for a run up the Sturt Highway yesterday (apparently, spending half my life on the bloody thing in a truck just isn’t enough) and stopped on the old part of Blanchetown bridge  :-)

Cheers guys. I love the bike. Being my first, I had wondered whether the novelty might wear off but nah :-) After a bit more than a year on it, I still can’t wait to go ride :-)

I was gonna take the proper camera out for pix but ya can’t beat an iPhone (or any smart phone) for speed and ease in the days of editing and posting to the www :-)

    I’ll take that, Steelo  :-)

It ‘Goes’ great in a straight line too. It is what it is. It’s a phat city cruiser and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. :-)
