Hi there, I'm in the process of planning a ride that will take us through the hills and Fleurio areas, meeting at Tee Tree Gully Hotel, lunch destination yet to be confirmed, possibly Pt Elliot / Victor Harbor, & a final refreshment stop at the Myponga Micro Brewery.
A tentative meeting time of 9:30am comes to mind, but a definate confirmation will be made in the next few days.
Looking forward to having a great day with both regular & any new faces who may wish to join in, regardless of make of bike they ride.
Cheers,
Ash.
I,m only a maybe on this one , Black Dog ride the next day .
Touch wood, the Fatty turns up tomorrow, and I'd be keen for some sorting out runs, so count us in at this stage, Ash ,unless we decide to do the Black Dog.
No probs Winger.
Not the Fatty your alluding to, GT????
Easy. Tell Jen you decided to ride there on the bike and taking a few friends with you.
Might see you there Ash. Cheers for organising.
Just took my family for a loop of next weekend's ride, nice weather yesterday morning, but was a little grey & cooler down south. Countryside starting to look a little greener again, but I was envious of seeing everyone else out on their bikes though.
Going to make a slight detour & possible change of lunch stop for the better. Looking forward to seeing those who can make it, & repeating it on 2 wheels next Saturday.
We're definites, and a mate with an SG will tag along also. Catchyas at the TTG Pub.
First decent ride on the Fatty.(and, yes ,China, that IS a shit eating grin!) Great day organised by Ash. Thanks Roady ,Steelo and Bob, and Ralphski for making the effort to ride part the way.Good to put some faces to the names. Cheers, Winger.
Cheers everyone who could make it today. Great weather, great company, great roads, and a very nice meal had at the Middleton Hotel, what more could you ask for.
It was good to finally meet you Winger, including your mate Bob. Good to see you again Ralph, Steelo & Roady. I had an enjoyable day, & the feedback regarding the route chosen was very pleasing to hear. I hoped you'd really enjoy it, as they are some of my favourite here in SA, especially from Hahndorf - Strathalbyn, & the one from Victor - Delamere.
I'm looking forward to see you all again on another ride sometime. Cheers for the pics Winger, I'm not exactly sure where Bob & I lost you, think it might have been near Harbour town.
Anyhow, 322 km's done since I fueled up near home this morning, not a bad effort, but my backside was starting to protest for being in the seat all that time. Looks like I might have to invest in an air hawk down the track.
Cheers once again to everyone who made it.
Not really, Graz. Was nearly home. They just didn't want to say goodbye to me... Sob!
Bye Winger, see you again next time. We headed up Grange rd hoping you may have taken a short cut from Henley beach rd or west beach rd.
