Regarding the latest incarnation of the FXDF ...

How different is the U.S version to ours ?

 What I ( think that I ) know ...U.S. bikes have:

*  'high output' motors.

* BOTH headlights operate in 'unison'.

* higher gear ratios ( ???? )

Aussie ( euro ? ) bikes have:

* alarm fitted as standard.

Anyone care to differ / add ?

PSS. Saw a Fat Bob yesterday with saddlebags ... F**k it looked gay ! So glad I didn't go down that path.

 

Having seen a load of Fatbobs with saddlebags I can honestly say they look fine. Unless the bike you saw was bright pink, with tassles on the bar ends, I have NFI what you're on about.

And to be clear, I don't own a fatbob and I don't have saddlebags...

I got bags on my fatbob. Its mostly because i ride big miles and need to carry shit, not just to the coffee shop for a lattee so my mates can see how cool i look.

BTW the only 2 things i can confirm are the lights and alarm.

Motors are the same      

Same gear ratios,

Anyone care to differ / add ?          ABS standard in Oz

 

I have noticed the main difference between the used USA models vs Aussie versions is the general appearance is better. Pretty much all the USA imports FB's at shops I've seen in Sydney all look brand new even with a few miles on them , not sure how the yanks keep them so clean.

I just got a us headlight for mine plugs stright in looks so much better

Where did you get your US Fatnob lights from Lodgie? And how much if you dont mind me asking.
