I've done a search of the messages and can't find anything simliar so will put this up.
I went a bit crazy with the WD-40 a few months ago and like the cats around I here started spraying everything.
Well I saw the bike mirror and gave a small squirt into the ball and socket joint on the back of my left mirror.
Next time I went for a ride I hit a bump or two although nothing major only to find the mirror is so loose it gets knocked out of whack each time.
Is there a way I can tighten it up?
I've tried wiping out any excess WD-40 with a clean rag but it's still really loose. So loose in fact I'm amazed the wind doesn't blow it out of alignment.
Don't know about you guys but I use my mirrors all the time even if it's just to spot the fuzz.
Any advice would be appreciated, but I don't want to buy a new mirror for something so minor.
Thanks, Boozo.
