Gday fellow Streetgliders / Ultra riders,i'm looking to adorn my FLHX with shiny bits on the front guard. Can someone out there tell me if the front guard is the same on a 14 Streetglide / Ultra as a 13 Street glide/ Ultra ?

One difference I know is that the guard bolts on from the inside on a 13 and under, and on a 14 onwards the guard bolts on through the fork sliders into the guard.
Whether the guard has captive nuts or a keeper plate I don't know. If it has a keeper plate then it might be the same.
Some one will chime in soon with more info.

Thanks FLHuTChU, its your bike in particular i like the look of. My main concern is whether the front guard is the same shape and if the chrome bumper set up would fit my 14. Trying to find out before i order the parts. I'll try and get to my local dealer and see if they've got a pre 14 in there for a service.

Good idea, the dealer should be able to compare part numbers between the two guards.
