I was doing a solo to Port Augusta from Goolwa a weak ago, I was about 3hrs into my ride just out of lochiel
I came up to 1 prime mover with a trailer sitting close up the ass of a removals truck, coming the other way was 3 prime movers  with trailers all sitting on each other. I pulled out to pass 110ks got to the primes window and sat, thought about the view a bit
The cunts coming the other way had moved into me given me about a 1mt corodor to pass the removals truck. For the preservation of my life I backed of and let the prime go as trailers swayed next to me 200mm each side untill they had gone
These pricks closed the gap and would have mangled me on a wide streach of road, they knew what was going down and played along

I usually get and give a wave from truckies I pass. Found them very obliging. 

Ok I was useing the painted island as my line on this 1 lane road and should not pass on the white island
to be closed out like this for no reason, we were all travling in a straight line, no one was turning
I have learnt my lesson "dont think all truckers are going to help you through a pass"
And some cunts are looking waiting to fuck you up

Looks a bit treacherous BD. I can see how the trailers would have gotten quite close. One truck behind the other aligning the cab with the rear of the trailer in front. Like pulling a rope tight.  I'm glad you got through OK. Cheers

I get the point this is not a legal pass
The line was there with heaps of room the painted island proves that  
The drivers of the trucks had 3 ways to go,
1. Stay as they were straight on there line 
2. help me out give some more room 
3. make things harder for me and come in close { as they did }
I was not looking for there help, all was fine as the pass was playing out,  
The 3 primes moved in on me

Yer' I can see I have drawn in a white line and why you would think this but its my mistake only one lane and the white painted  island
