Any one tracked down the cause of a U1016 fault code. Iknow what the code is, trying to find the cause

I seem to remember moisture and dielectric grease on the ecm connector being mentioned before in regard to that fault, as well as faulty/poor connections, but as always it's another damn generic code so all you can do is run through the options.

Well after a few hrs dicking around finally got it sorted. FYI for those of you who run a power vision if you leave the diagnostic cable still hooked into the bike it can send this code due to a poor connector at the bike end. Codes been cleared and has not come back. Many thanks to those who took the time to post
