Ah righto. An old timer once told me it was referred to as that as when you're at the lights if you had no front brakes by accident let the clutch jump out, it'd throw you into traffic. I thought fair enough that does sound like suicide haha

Thanks mate. I was tossing up wether to make a hydraulic setup when I fab up some new controls, be a better way to go I reckon

"It's tricky launching it hard and naturally you're forced back pulling on the bars and you got to let go to change gears, you sort of got to lean into the Lau ch more so you're not hanging onto the bars so much in about to build all new controls from scratch too, "

Haha. When they first designed the hand shift the bikes were probably making 10hp

Sounds good STROPP, be great to see what you come up with.

FYI that's true lol. I did watch a YouTube clip of some guy changing gears with his foot clutch and tank shift while mid air wheel standing his chopper, impressive to see. I show that to people now who say you can't ride hard with that setup lol

The new headlight is on, the side LEDs light as you lean into a corner, I will get a pic of the paint on the tank as it is very subtle and unless the sun is out it just looks black.

Im keen to upgrade to a softail next year and was wondering if the slim "S" would continue or is it just a limited run for this year.

What cams are going in hilly?

They are quite an unusual spec' cam.
My setup wasn't huge on power (100tq/95hp in the end) but it was a lot of fun to ride.
Definitely a case of the Dyno sheet not telling the whole story.
If I took a guess, I think you might be somewhere close to 115tq/110hp With the right exhaust.
I think you'll be really happy as a first step.

I have the RSD clear for the clutch, I had to take the clear cam cover off as the exhaust melted the plastic window and it leaked

    they look good though.

not sure why it put the pic sideways but you can see it sits exactly the same distance out now as the right hand side one
