Just foolin around looking at harleys on bikesales.

Bloody ell 4 pages of fatbobs with only 4 bikes with over 25,000 ks

only about 6 or 8 over 15,000 ks

The rest of em under 10,000 ks with most not even run in. Nearly all with good accesorries already on em.

 

Checked out the softys and basically same deal although a few more around the mid 20 thous k mark.

 

I know its nice having a brand new bike but for me i would not buy a new one again when there is so much to save.

Its not like the old days when ya would be worried about a second hand bike being flogged. Harley engines are that tough now it wouldnt hurt em anyway.

Most of em are probally being sold by blokes that bought em wanting to be a big bad biker, then realising its not for them afterall lol, in which case wouldnt be riden hard.

Demo bikes get a caining and i know plenty of blokes who have bought em and never had troubles.

Market is flooded with good bikes and its a buyers time alright.

There is over 10 pages of used Harleys on gumtree WA. Lots of people dreaming about getting 20K for a secondhand bike that a dealer will give you 13K for.

I'm in the market for a second hand FXDF at the moment. I'll post what price I get it second hand for. I'm not spending over 15k and want a 103.

Welcome mate, I bought my bob new but when looking for my late model softy I was not willing to spend more then 16. Rang heaps of blokes made offers which most refused. But eventually got one.

Whilst I can afford to buy new and customise it to the way I want I will continue to, maybe when I am old and retired

I may need to buy someone else's project, but not just yet.

i do think in purely twisties, like mountains a sportster would beat a dyna as well

as long as their's no straights haha
 

And to think I am thinking on selling my Fatboy - Well it was a fatboy! LOL!

Mainly because I hardly ride it anymore, and it just sits there looking at me.
