I just did the caltex trip planner from my place to Bellingen it reckons 8 hours without stops, dunno how pan plans to ride from Brisvegas to Bellingen in 5 hours.
His bike must be faster than mine.

I am hoping Shelley will be riding, however I am waiting on some parts to come in for her sporty, Shelley will ride her new sporty if the parts are fitted but won't ride it if they are not.
so if they don't come in time she will be driving.

I did the club ride today approximately 400k's and that squealing sound on the Dyna has got so bad now people can hear me coming behind them, So I will ring Ballina first thing in the morning and get it down to them pronto and see what they can do but it doesn't sound good might be the clutch bearing or primary bearing.
I hope its the one that they have the parts and can fix quick or otherwise my ride around the block is fucked.

No it only squeals at a constant speed, if I excellerate it stops, if I back off it stops, it still sqeals when I pull the clutch in and it was even doing it at 60k's when it was hot, just before our lunch stop, after approx 200 k's of riding.
When I start off cold it doesn't squeal, but after about 5 k's it does, I just checked oil levels all of em, belt tension, rear wheel for free wheeling, etc I can't find anything obvious.

RT I have done 8600 k's so that doesn't sound good does it.

Well the quickest I can get it looked at is the 12 of December and because that is close to their Christmas break the mechanic siad they probably wouldn't get the part in until after Christmas, then they still have to fit it etc.
So sorry boys and girls our trip is denied.
Parts haven't come in for Shelleys sporty either so I can't even take that.
