So you wanna put a 21 inch on your fatbob?

What width 21 inch was ya thinking.......90mm like most of em?

would not be expensive but definitely one of the dumbest ideas ive heard for a while, no wait, a 260 rear on a street bob was equally as stupid as this recently
where do you blokes come up with this stuff? be satisfied with the bike you have or buy another, the bikes are designed these ways by HD for a reason

my opinion only, of coarse some may/will disagree

I to think it is a strange idea to buy a fatbob then thin it down.

but why is it wrong to customize/personalize his bike the way he thinks he wants it?

that is what we all have done, HD designed a 2-2 exhaust, we put on 2-1's, yet I will quote Flipdogs comment ,the bikes are designed these ways by HD for a reason
    then we change air filters

if its a skinny wheel he wants, I think back to the life of brian "we are all inderviduals" _____ "I'm not"

    Totally agree FD.
Everyone probably has a need for accessories / extra bling, but to have a want to radically reconfigure / change design ....

I wonder why this 'phenomenon' seems / is unique to Harley owners.

Maybe he was a thinking of a 21 inch x 130mm like the breakouts have?

    That would make more sense.

    Mitchos 87-69 ?

Do not dwell on ridicule just yet. Stand your ground and explain yourself......if you want to......no ones going to kill ya if ya do.

I really like the Fatbobs and the fat front wheel but the small dia of it does like to sink into potholes and make for a cunt of a ride on bumby roads..

I do t think it's stupid at all personally everyone customises there Harley's how they want it no one wants a Harley exactly the same as the average guys riding down the road I know fatbob are naturally a pretty wide bike that's why I'm not going a thin wheel at the front I am going a 130mm an the mammoth spoked wheels are thick an chunky looking wheels.. I've never seen a fatbob with a 21" spoked front wheel before so personally I can't wait to mix it up abit... I do t see it any different to buying a car an chucking different wheels on it it's how I want it an that's what sets them apart.. But that's just my thought ;)

That's my fatbob an I personally reckon it'd look good with a 21" 130mm front on her..

Go for it...I put an 18" rim on the front of my Wideglide...A 19" rim on the front of Softail...In both cases the handling improved quite a bit but I am not too sure that will be the case with a 21" rim on a Fatbob. What ever you do,as long as you are happy with it who cares...

Mitch i like the 21" front wheel too!!!! the only big twin Harley ever to be ridden to the top of Cap York Penisular had a 21" front wheel, when you look at road contact not much difference but 21" has a longer narrow contact area. not sure on the cost but have a go at lacing yourself if you have time. good luck.

Does you bike have ABS. I wonder how that will go if you change the total diameter of the wheel. I have the 18inch stinger wheels on mine. But the total diameter is similar as tire profile is less.

Yeah mate has abs I'm not sure how it'll affect it either but I'll let u know I'm going abit lower profile with a bigger wheel so hopefully it doesn't make a difference but I'll find out in about 2 weeks time! Haha

hshah mate I love my bike why not give it a bed to be parked up on.. Your right mate..one of the reasons I got a he is to be able to customise it how I wanted it different from other fatbobs I've seen majority of had owners do it but not much of fatbob owners.. I'm not going a cheese cutter wheel on her pretty much going same size as breakout with a custom guard mammoth spikes black hub chrome spoked..
