Need a pair of shocks so the missus can come and take a bit of luggage too. Probably have 220kg - 230kg all up.

Sick of this bottoming out crap. Like something standard height if possible or slightly lower.

    What should I get ?

Any help with model and even best place to buy in Vic would be great.

You could try ringing IKON suspension, they do a chromed style twin shock set and can specifiy different spring types for different weight needs.

I run the iKon shocks in my 2014FXDF
Done 64500km with them and they are a solid shock with capable useage.
    These are the "BasiX" range

You choose the Height, spring weight and valving.
The ppl at iKon are ver easy to talk with and accomodating.
Mine cost me $350 delivered back in 2014.

I just recently went with Hagon Nitro rear shocks on my Fatbob and very happy (I'm no light weight either). I went with 320mm length shocks (about 1/2 inch longer than stock with a tad more travel, but you cannot notice this visually on the bike)

Moose Racing are the Aussie distributor, call Darrell Groat with your details etc and he sets everything up with no fuss.

    good luck

    Don

They are good, I fitted some yesterday for a larger gent. If you call Daryl and let him know what you want he will send them out with the spring to suit.

I'll third that. I've got Hagons on my FLHX for the same reason, "fat pricks". First set i got the springs werent heavy enough so i got a heavier spring and all good now.
