On the weekend a rock was flicked up by a car & hit my headlight & you guessed it, there is now a f...g great crack in it...

Went to Harley dealer today to get a price on a new one to discover that HD nolonger makes a replacement headlight for my 'old, it's greater than 10yrs mate' bike so my only options are:

    1. Daymaker - at price f...n ridiculous

    2. Aftermarket halogen headlight, or

    3. Aftermarket LED headlight

Anyone got any recommendations for a 7" headlight to fit a 2004 FLHR RK please & who I might purchase from

    Thanks in Advance

Issue resolved; went to a company called AME who were recommended to me by the manager at Harley Magic.

Turns out, it is a stock 7" Hella unit & picked up a new one for $88.27.

Kinda pleased that the Harley replacement is superseded as depending on the part number they were between $150 - $300.

Can anyone recommend a clear film, preferably pre cut for a 7" headlamp & two 4.5" passing lamps; I'm over trashing lights with one flicked up stone

    Cheers

If you want to improve the light output of your head light try a +130 replacment globe. Same curent draw as standard but much brighter. You could get a Marshal 7" head light that uses 2 driving light globes 1 x H2 and 1 x H3 bu It you need to bridge you dipper switch to keep low beam on all the time as the high beam just throws a spot beam. I put on in a 78 Triumph and it was brilliant. I think the +130's are about $90 a pair.
