i have a 2007 21' front wheel with 25mm bearings that i want to fit to a 2000 heritage which runs a 3/4 axle. can i just replace the 25 mm bearings in the 21' rim with a new set of 3/4 bearings and replace the sleeve ? i think the 25mm bearings are thinner than the 3/4 bearings.

I went to a bearing supplier and they ordered in some bearings with the same dimensions in a 3/4 center.

Yes you can but as you said you need a 3/4 inner spacer aswell and will need to make new axel spacers aswell and
Yes the 3/4 to 25 are a different width you can buy the 3/4 inner spacer from Harley for about $8 bucks but you
Will need to set up the endfloat so may need to machine down the spacer Or you could just use the 25 mm bearings and run reducers and use the 25 mm bearings and just make new axel spacers i have done it both ways Bearings are cheap from a bearing shop aswell don't buy the over price Harley shit ones good nsk ones are about $9 bucks each from a bearing shop compered to the $25 dollar Harley ones if you need the bearing number I can dig it out for you

ok got the reducers and made some spacers and set it all up .the wheel does not sit in the centre of the forks . its closer to the rhs than the left by about 20mm approx ? anyone else had the same drama ?

did you measure the distance of your old wheel. Brake disc to caliper mount on the forks so it's the in the same spot ?
First as you want that right than see how that sits in regards to being in the centre than you may have to make
A disc spacer and new axel spacers left and right will be different lengths
