Go to Workshop efi section and have a look at the SEPST for dummies, it might help you find where you are going wrong.

With the Supertuner pro latest edition , you have to update every 30 days or so or close to that. That is for the Supertuner software on your laptop

And you have to update the firmware for the dongle as well I have found , quite often when the dongle has been used before.
